aaaaaaahhhhhhh

Long time no post. Too much travel and not enough time :)
Diet has been decent considering the hotel/airport/plane food. Lost 2 lbs when I thought I would have gained. Down 3% body fat and am stoked about that!!!
Still on 250 calories 6 x/day at this point. Quads and delts today. Robin killed me :) Squats and leg press and leg extension and squat jumps. I walk crooked.

Learned that Spaghetti Squash with sauce and chicken is quite lovely.
Made sandwiches ahead and bought some lean cuisines that were 250 cal or less to help with meal prep.

Any feedback out there?
TTFN~going to try and run tho I don't think my legs will work.

Stress!!!!

Hello!
I haven't been blogging as I am in the process of moving my office and have a lot of irons in the fire.
I weighed in at the gym today and have lost another 1/2lb! Waahooo!!! Baby steps.
I had a record week ~ Leg press with 12 plates :) 3 reps of 15 (that's 45lb weight plates, not 12 dinner plates) and shoulder press with the 30lb'rs on each side! It was very exciting for me to increase as Robin has been kicking my a** for so long it was nice to be stronger on something for a change.
Today I had ZERO energy and whined my way thru the entire workout AND I finished. Poor Robin had to almost beat me to motivate me :( I think I am just feeling the stress and need some quality rest.
My goals for this weekend are to not drink and enjoy Arizona yet still eat healthy!
I love hearing about my friends progress as well. It motivates me to get out the door!

Thursday 9/24

Happy Thursday night!
I had a HARD week of workouts with Robin in addition to too a bunch of stress.
Today I found a wee bit-o-clarity and I am thrilled about it!
Diet was great all day!!
Tonight Dave and I took the doggies out for a lovely 1.5hr stroll in the Boise Foothills.
Ahhhhhh~We are so lucky to be able to do that.

Lunges again with 45lb's in each hand and some hellish bicep curls that are still hurting me :)
Let's hope I can be booze free on Friday!

Bedtime-day 10

Wow-so tired. Lack of sleep setting in.

5 plates each side!  Wahooo....love that!
Wish my tri's and chest were that strong!
Would love to get some feedback going on here...Really want to know how others maintain-handle tough times/temptations.

Mother Nature Blues

OK-so, I am finding out that Mo Nature takes more out of me the older I get. I have been less than functional for a few days now. The added stress of "the economy" (I hate that saying) is probably contributing to my less than stellar mood/motivation.

So far tho, I've had my cream of wheat w/nectar and almonds and some java. Operating on about 2 hours of sleep (maybe less as I am not sure when I drifted off)~

My friend in OK lost 7lbs!!!! Waahoooo!!! Great job!

Yesterday's lift went better than expected and Robin once again got me thru. Thanks missy.
I was informed that I needed to buck up on the food end and get serious so - bye bye wine. I will have to do some yoga to deal with this stress instead of tipping the glass bottles upside down!

Day 5 ~ bed time

What a day. I had sh*t happen at work that was completely ridiculous and frustrating and all I wanted to do was eat cheese, drink wine and then maybe some Fanci Freeze for dessert.
I only had the wine. I couldn't help it. I was so upset when I got home. Vented to my spouse, my friend and my co-worker. JEEZ. I hate not being in control of things and I hate being yelled at by some yahoo in a big company.

My trainer extraordinaire kicked my butt and my hamstrings at the gym. We lunged w/the 45'rs today - that is 90lbs total and I can feel it! Owie Owie. Had a decent bicep session as well.
Thank you Robin! (again)

OK-breathing. Dinner was lovely chicken breast with 1 smooth/flat tortilla and a bit of Idaho Mashers, spray butter and sea salt. Oh, and a bit of Pouy (poo-ie) wine~
Now I will try to stop my busy mind and sleep.

Day 5 ~ Thursday

Had an awful day yesterday. Took the dogs out in the morning and then it all fell apart afterward. I was so tired that I couldn't keep my eyes open. Bagged my lift with Robin who will probably ring my neck today :(
Feeling better today tho. Think I am fighting a sinus infection (neat) or small cold or stupid fall allergies OR all of the above.
Anyway, diet was 99% clean all day and has started out super duper today!

Lifting hams/biceps today. OWIE. Going to try for hot yoga as well. Need an attitude adjustment. As I age this freaking hormonal stuff gets insane!!!!

Day 4 Goodmorning!

I cooked 16 chicken breasts last night on the grill. Preparing meals is a necessary evil that makes my life so much easier when I do it. No guessing what to eat and NO eating the wrong thing.
I weighed and measured the cream of wheat and nectar as well and chopped up promax bars into the correct portion sizes.
Off to hike with my friend Suzie this a.m. and blow the stink off the dogs.

Coffee is ready!
Lifting this afternoon. Hopefully I will have as much energy as I did yesterday.

Day 3 - Bitch Mode

OK, I am in a funk x 10. I am not sure what is going on. Perhaps Mo Nature is rearing her ugly head. Dunno. Don't want to lift. Don't want to run. Don't want to do anything but each nachos. Of course I am not eating nachos and I will be lifting soon with my trainer who will undoubtedly help me feel better.

Day 2 ~ Monday afternoon

So far today my diet is clean. My mood still sucks tho.
I had a great lift w/Robin. She is the bomb and always makes me feel better by encouraging me. Thanks Robinator!

Might go for a short run before I get home to kick my heart rate up again.

Day 2~Monday

I fell completely apart last night and was ready for surgery or drugs! Seriously, it ticks me off so much to see people drinking and pigging out and not gaining weight and I am 99.999% certain they aren't weighing/measuring their damn food.
OK, I might still be a bit pissy this a.m.
Ran in the foothills with the dogs this a.m. So nice to have a breeze and rain!

Day 1 weight-slaying

Had a marvelous run in the beautiful Boise Foothills this morning. My diet this weekend was not as good as I intended as I had company and they like to eat out and drink.

Learning just what a difference being hydrated can make.

Going to cook the turkey meatballs today and grill chicken for the week's meals.
